Rich blue shoes and a striking emerald gown make a stunning combination. I’d love to add a coral coloured enamel wrist cuff or cocktail ring.

A cake inspired by the 100 years of Royal Albert collection 1930’s teacup. Polka Rose is one of my favourites in that collection and I use it regularly.

I absolutely love this intimate, Australian wedding. This photo really captures the loving feel of their reception, it reminds me so much of a cosy dining room.

Radelle was my wedding photographer and she was absolutely amazing! Her husband, Adam, photographed my best friend’s wedding and he was great to work with. The pair take truly beautiful, inspiration photographs.
Rose petals are inexpensive but the effect of this photograph is anything but. A week or two before your big day call up your florist or local grocer and order rose petals in your colour(s). Give each member of your bridal party two handfuls and voila! Gorgeous photo in an instant.

Friday’s hair inspiration.
Also, I have no idea what she is wearing but I love it!

I’m imagining this with even more carnations and fruit. I love the compote “vase” and that this could possibly be a “budget” centrepiece simply because carnations tend to be inexpensive. Used creatively in tightly packed arrangements and bouquets, carnations are becoming a favourite flower for me.
Soften up a harsh background with soft-toned, ombre butterflies. Paper butterflies create a whimsical effect against harsh concrete. Imagine those same butterflies in your wedding colours placed behind your cake or dessert table. These would work great for a bridal shower too.

Attention Edmonton, Alberta area brides! Claudia’s Confections makes amazing looking (and tasting) wedding and event cakes.
My bouquet; a combination of pink peonies, white hydrangea, pink roses and myrtle. Fun fact: Ever since the time of Queen Victoria sprigs of myrtle have been included in royal wedding bouquets, including the Duchess of Cambridge’s.
This tumblr. was created so that I can share my passion for everything to do with weddings.
I was married last year (about this time, actually) and planning my wedding was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I had ever done. I absolutely adored the time I spent seeking out inspiration, researching and booking vendors and creating a cohesive look. It mattered a surprising amount to me that everything from the stationary to the flowers to the venue to the décor coordinated beautifully.
In fact, beauty has become a principle theme for me. Not beauty in the sense of make-up, hair and weight loss, but beauty in the sense of a well set table, or an eye-catching backdrop.
Hair, make-up and being your ideal, healthy weight do matter for your wedding, absolutely. But these will not be the focus here. Instead, let’s journey together in search of beauty that inspires a day of romance.
For the love of weddings.
tumblrbot asked: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
